Laurie Curtis, Chairman, Co-Founder, will remain on Toachi’s Board as a Director and continue to be an instrumental part of the technical team and provide his extensive geological experience.
Alain Bureau is a professional engineer with over 25 years of leadership in project management, operating in Latin America countries, gained through notable projects including the mines of, Iscaycruz & Yauliyacu in Peru, Escondida Copper Mine and Altonorte in Chile, Pinos Altos in Mexico, Raglan Mine and the renowned Au-Rich VMS project LaRonde in Quebec, Canada. Alain expertise also consist of working in cross-cultural situations within political and cultural nuances. Prior to joining Toachi, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pershimco Resources for nine years and built it into a development stage mining company. In 2016, Alain was instrumental in the merger of Pershimco Resources Inc. and Orla Mining Ltd.
